Michael's right...Pope John Paul II drew heavily from some of the good points of liberation theology in his Puebla speeches, which are available in book form. Apparently, Tito hasn't read them.

Puebla actually seems to be the point at which JPII's writings become more and more influenced by Latin American liberation theology, such that he eventually came to insist that LT is "both useful and necessary."
